Electromagnetic jumper SCOT is an alternative to the commonly used in access control systems electromagnetic lock.
Consists of an actuator with an electromagnet mounted on the door frame, and a metal plate affixed to the door leaf. Energized coil magnet attracts the plate thus protecting the entrance. All jumpers electromagnetic SCOT are designed to work with a voltage of 12 or 24V DC.
Depending on the model of the jumper maximum pressure on the door is 180, 280, 350, 540 kg.
Electromagnetic armature is used in access control systems as an alternative to reversible electric latches, which is where safety regulations require opening the door after a power failure in the control system: emergency exits, fire protection, public buildings. Electromagnetic armature has no moving mechanical parts, so that there is practically no wear on the machine. For this reason it is used in high traffic areas where controlled doors are frequently opened, eliminating the need for constant maintenance.
Additional mounting brackets "L", "ZL", "UL" types allow for the installation of jumpers virtually on every door.
Electromagnetic jumper SL EL-600 is equipped with a relay NC, which can be used to inform the access control system to open / close controlled doors. This allows us to pass information such as the alarm system to indicate the status of the door.
